Título: TMD fragmentation without recoil
Abstract: Transverse-momentum-dependent (TMD) fragmentation inside jets has
interesting potential applications, ranging from investigating
the proton structure to studying the quark-gluon plasma.
Jets allow to compute the transverse momentum dependence
perturbatively; in addition, when a recoil-free axis is used,
the observables are free of spurious effects induced by soft
radiation and paves the way for a cleaner extraction of
nonperturbative collinear physics. To see a recoil-free jet
axis in action, we performed an extensive phenomenological
analysis of TMD hadron fragmentation.
After presenting the framework, I will discuss its advantages
showing our latest analytic predictions along with Monte Carlo simulations.
